BOUNTY CELLARS READY FOR ITS CLOSE UP

Kelowna winery announces new releases and awards show partnership

Kelowna, BC – The wines of Kelowna’s Bounty Cellars are taking centre stage this spring with the announcement of two, new limited release wines and an exciting partnership with the Leo Awards.

The 10th Anniversary Leo Awards, which will be presented on May 23 and 24 at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver, celebrate excellence in the province’s film and television industry. Bounty Cellars was selected to provide wine with a custom label based on the awards show logo to include in the premium gift bags that will be distributed to the award presenters.

“It’s an honour for us to create what is sure to be a keepsake private label wine for an event that celepates the best of BC’s thriving film and television industry and we welcome the opportunity to showcase our wines in that setting,” says Bounty Cellars proprietor Ron Pennington. Bounty Cellars was also recently selected to provide private label wines for the 2008 BC Summer Games, which take place in Kelowna this July.

Bounty Cellars is a boutique winery that follows the model of the traditional French négociant, or wine merchant, using the best grapes, juice and wine from throughout the Pacific Northwest to produce a portfolio of top-quality wines year after year for a variety of clients. Bounty Cellars award-winning wines can be found at better retailers and restaurants, but can also be ordered direct from the winery and packaged with custom-designed labels.

The winery’s two newest offerings are now for sale in limited release. The 2007 Pinot Blanc (VQA), with only 300 cases available, and the 2007 Gewurztraminer (VQA), with just 180 cases available, can only be purchased direct from the winery.

Bounty Cellars bottled its first wines in May 2005 and has since become known for consistently top-quality wines that appeal to a poad range of palates. The winery’s unique private label program is ideal for restaurants seeking an exclusive private house wine, companies looking for memorable gifts, organizations in need of an innovative fundraising idea or individuals with a taste for exceptional wines.
