Inspired by the abundant harvest in British Columbia’s bountiful Okanagan Valley where it makes its home, Bounty Cellars has been producing top-quality wines and custom wine labels since 2004. Bounty Cellars follows the model of the traditional French négociant, using the best grapes, juice and wine from throughout the Pacific Northwest to produce a portfolio of top-quality wines year after year. Whether you’re a restaurant seeking an exclusive private house wine, a company looking for a memorable gift, an organization in need of an innovative fundraising idea or an individual with a taste for exceptional wines, let us be your wine cellar. NEGOCIANTNégociants buy everything from grapes and grape must (pressed grapes that have not yet started to ferment) to wines in various states of completion. In the case of grapes or must, the négociant performs virtually all the wine making. If it buys already-fermented wine in barrels or 'en-vrac' - basically in bulk containers, it may age the wine further, blend in other wines or simply bottle and sell it as is. Négociants have operated in France for centuries. More than 190 négociant wineries operate in the Bordeaux region alone. Some négociants, such as Georges Duboeuf, have a recognizable house style and have become world famous for their wines. Many négociants also own vineyards. In Burgundy for instance, Duboeuf and Louis Jadot, are the largest owners of vineyards.
